i do feel bad for the writers on bojack and rick and morty because they know they have shitty male fans that idolize and identify with their mains, so they’ve both now made explicit episodes that are like ‘stop idolizing them. they’re not the hero they suck.’ and every fan has just been like ‘no i got it. they’re the antihero which is even cooLER’

people always say some shit like “phones are making us antisocial. everyone is always texting” what do you think texting is? who do you think people are talking to? what do you think they’re doing? texting your friends or people you care about or having a friendly chat in the comments is just as social as talking to an old lady at the grocery store. it’s just… digital. we gotta get rid of this idea that digital relationships aren’t real relationships.
Hot take but anger can be a very good emotion for women to allow themselves to experience. Anger isn’t inherently toxic. No emotion is inherently toxic but women are socialized to believe anything less than absolute accommodation and Pleasantness is Bad
