Hey y’all! I’m starting a pride line of beaded jewelry to both help with the struggles of being a poor, queer, Anishinaabe student AND to create representation in Native jewelry for LGBTQ and Two-Spirit Indigenous peoples. Many people use pride colors in their work, but these will be made with my two-spirit and queer Indigenous brothers, sisters, and non-binary relatives in mind. These pieces represent the fact that your identities are valid and that you and your queerness do and always have belonged in our communities. I’m so excited about this work and I have big plans for these next steps. Stay tuned for the work to come! (PS nearly all of the pieces pictured are for sale. DM me if you’re interested!)
Also…Supplies are expensive! If you’re interested in supporting me as an artist or this project-

Planned Parenthood operates on an informed consent basis for HRT treatment. This means that patients whose bloodwork indicates they are good candidates for HRT will be prescribed testosterone or estrogen and androgen blockers, so long as they understand the likely effects and accept the possible side effects that go along with it, after those side effects have been explained to them.
According to
Planned Parenthood’s vice president of communications, at least 26 Planned Parenthood locations are currently offering HRT to trans patients* and that the number of affiliates offering these services is growing.

this is fantastic now children in Puerto Rico wont be able to receive the education they deserve thanks to their messed up government
Its even worse than that. I’m living through it. Not only are schools closing, hospitals are collapsing. Only around 9% of the island has electricity and it comes and goes at times.
People are dying in hospitals because of lack of diesel for the generators, a lot of the water is now infected, there are disease outbreaks and scareceness of food. I am safe, but many are not.
Some have water, others don’t. We need help. Sending money would be helpful but what would help even more would be sending water filters, filtering water bottles, food, medicine, if somehow possible diesel.
All of you reblogging this news helps, but what we need is physical help. If you can’t, then spread the word, but God if you can send supplies… Please… PLEASE do. We are dying. Help us, help us save ourselves. Help us save our people. Help us save out ISLAND.
If you’re not in a position to ship or transport useful items to the island (which is sure as heck the case for me in New Zealand) then the best thing you can do is give money to a reputable relief organisation operating in the area.
It’s been a long time since I last opened, almost a year and a half? In any case, here are some things to know this time around about my policies:
There will be slots open until I chose to close, so there’s no limit to how many people can ask for at a time! (although first come first serve)
I’m doing an hourly rate and thus the hour estimates are based on complexity, the more complex = more hours needed
Multiple characters add the amount of hours it would take to do one
Once a commission slot has been taken, I will provide a more accurate quote based on the client’s request to them directly
Once a slot has been taken, the commissioner must pay me half the max price of the commission quote up front and then the remainder upon completion (the remainder amount will be adjusted to the hours worked)
Only 2 edits can be requested after completion of the commission. This edit limit does not apply during any discussion that happens during the commission process, only after
I will draw nudity as long as it is not a sexual act i.e. topless characters are fine, as are full nudes.
Anthro characters are totally fine
Character sheets, comics and sketch pages are also available to commission!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
To request a slot, please send a message to my e-mail:
kzidichouski@gmail.com
or dm me on my tumblr here c:
Reblogs are much appreciated to get the word around ;0
Due to recent changes in the fan content policy, it is now legally shakey ground for anyone to draw adults only content of Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Axis & Allies branded content.
And to this point, I will not be doing so for the foreseeable future. This should not change my personal works as non of my medieval fantasy works derive from D&D trademarks. It has, however, cut two major IPs off from requests, commissions, and patreon rewards.
Don’t sleep on this clause of the new policy:
Your Fan Content must be free for others (including Wizards) to view, access, share, and use without paying you anything, obtaining your approval, or giving you credit.
>use
Fuck Hasbro.
uh…………..
so no porn is essentially what they’re saying.
No they are saying that they can freely distribute your art content without crediting you or compensating you. AND SO CAN EVERYONE ELSE You aren’t allowed to take commissions EVER. And if you try to fight it legally because all of this falls under Fair Use they will have you up to your neck in fines and fees. Which is, in fact, ILLEGAL. But they can get away with it because money. Hasbro has a history of this.
Please actually read the page. I promise you its not in legaleese.
This is actually extremely detrimental to a lot of artists.
“Fan Content includes fan art, videos, podcasts, blogs, websites, streaming content, tattoos, altars to your cleric’s deity, etc.“
So if I’m understanding this correctly, then even if YouTube hadn’t been working to demonetize creator content, this policy would mean D&D podcasts & vids – like Critical Role and The Adventure Zone – can’t be used to make money.
Fuck Hasbro.
WELP.
If anybody ever wants a commission of a certain tabletop roleplay character, just…y’know…don’t tell me what it’s from. Obviously completely original character no relation to anything, right?…>_>
If you do need to namedrop a system, say “Fantasy d20″. It’s the overarching supercategory that includes all of the Open Gaming Licnese knockoffs. If you want to move away from D&D, you should look into them anyway…
Pathfinder (3.5+) Castles & Crusades (AD&D2E) Basic Fantasy RPG, Lamentations of the Famle Princess (BX D&D + homebrew) Labyrinth Lord (BX D&D or AD&D1E depending on the splatbooks)
OSRIC (AD&D1E) Swords & Wizardry (OD&D)
Or you could just start playing a game that isn’t based on D&D like GURPS Dungeon Fantasy, Mouseguard, Earthdawn, Warhammer Fantasy RPG, Ironclaw, Palladium Fantasy, EXALTED.
Or use generics like GURPS, HERO, Fuzion, Savage Worlds, Fate, etc.
With the way Hasbro’s been mismanaging WotC, they kinda need to lose market share anyway.
Hackmaster! Don’t forget Hackmaster, it’s a great system and very akin to D&D but with many very notable improvements. XO
Just gonna add Dungeon World, Pugmire, MERPS and the fan-made elderscrolls tabletop to the list
Did some deeper research into this and just gonna put some quick notes to ease everyone’s fears:
-stuff like donations, add revenue and sponsorships aren’t affected so if your DND art comes from something like patreon or one of those “I’ll draw a picture for you if you donate 5$” things you’re 100% safe and Critical Role is sponsored by DND Beyond currently so they’re 200% safe, as well as the adventure zone even though they haven’t played dnd in a good couple months since they’re based on ad revenue
-Under the open game license, you can make any content and not have it be low key owned by wizards of the coast as long as it does not have a specific setting or uses your own original setting
-These changes have been in effect since November of 2017, so you can see how hard they’re cracking down on all this via experience or looking back on the past half year or so.
-Joining the DM’s Guild takes off some restrictions like making money off of your content if you make art or homebrew and lets you use Forgotten Realms and Ravenloft without legal repercussions (and probably more to follow)
In short, they literally say that their lawyers already have their hands tied so as long as you don’t walk up to Mister Coast Wizard himself and yell that you’re breaking the law, you should be good and again, just put a lil eraser to the “DND” part of commissions and you should be a-ok
Well, after educating yourself and advocating for the rights of the Syrian people in their fight for freedom against a brutal dictatorship as well as naming and holding accountable those who aid the Assad regime such as Iran, Hezbollah and Russia among others, *breathes*, you can help by donating to any of the organisations/groups listed below.
These groups mainly help on the ground in Syria providing aid; be it medical or psychological as well as food and clothes to those in need.
SAMS Foundation: the foundation works with Syrian American health care professionals and operates 106 medical facilities throughout Syria
Doctors Without Borders (also known as MSF): the organisation provides front-line medical treatment as well as providing drugs, medical supplies and equipment
Questscope: the organisation’s work is mostly centered on providing immediate trauma support and psychosocial counseling
Save the Children: the organisation is on the ground in Syria and in refugee communities providing children and their families with warm clothes, shelters, clean water and emergency care
Syrian Civil Defense(also known as The White Helmets): they are about 3,000 neutral, impartial and humanitarian Syrian volunteers who operate as first responders in rebel-held areas across the country. They were recently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Karam Foundation: the organisations is focused on educational opportunities for Syrian children, currently raising funds to rebuild schools in Syria.
NuDay Syria: the organisation’s mission focuses on bringing housing and food to displaced families with single mothers or wounded family members. They are especially concerned with the lack of safe shelter and living for single mothers with daughters.
Hand in Hand for Syria: the organisation provides aid including food, clothing, water, sanitation and crucial medical assistance
According to the United Nations, there are almost 14 million Syrian refugees around the world (so far) in need of humanitarian aid. The groups below are mainly focused on helping Syrian refugees:
Migrant Offshore Aid Station: this charity exists to save children like Alan Kurdi, with a fleet of rescue boats patrolling the Mediterranean to save migrants lost at sea.
Refugees Welcome: dubbed as a kind of “Airbnb for refugees” this German nonprofit matches people with spare rooms with refugees in need of housing. If you don’t have a spare bed in Germany.
The Worldwide Tribe in Calais: a group of social activists documenting stories in the Calais migrant camp, they also raise relief funds.
Small Projects Istanbul: the initiative provides classes and cultural enrichment and scholarships to Syrian children in Turkey.
Mercy Corps: the group provides direct aid to Syrian refugees in the form of food and supplies, and by increasing access to clean water and sanitation, shelters, and safe spaces and activities for children
Shelterbox: the group has been providing emergency shelter and supplies to families affected by the Syrian crisis in Iraq Kurdistan, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, including clothing, stoves and, water filters.
UNICEF: the UN agency focuses on assisting Syrian children by providing healthcare, nutrition, immunization, water and sanitation, and classes.
Oxfam: the nonprofit provides aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan such as clean water, sanitation services, and hygiene education to help ward of cholera and other intestinal diseases.
Yes, donating won’t stop barrel bombs from falling on besieged civilian areas (that comes by being vocal about Assad’s crimes) but it can definitely help create a start.
Speaking of educating yourselves, an initiative called Syria Social Campaign would send you one or two articles concerning Syria each week! You only have to submit your email address.
Here’s the Syria Solidarity Calendar for those who would like to take part in solidarity events around the world
To add to this, my family is tied pretty close with SAMS. We know many of the doctors who run it – and they are incredible people. not only do they risk their lives to serve in danger zones & refugee camps in Syria for trips, they also were able to score a ton of grant money by having some serious connections high up in US gov. if you want to donate to an organization to help Syrian refugees, please donate to them. I guarantee you, every single cent of it will go to maintaining the medical facilities and operation centers they have opened.
